    Shapiro Administration Launches Statewide Plan

    www.PAGetsItDone.com

On Tuesday, January 30th, Governor Josh Shapiro and DCED Secretary Rick Siger announced the launch of a much anticipated statewide economic development strategy. This plan, intended to guide the Commonwealth's efforts toward economic growth over the next 10 years, is the first of its kind in approximately 20 years and was developed through collaboration with economic development stakeholders across the state.

Members of PEDA leadership were in attendance at the announcement and previously have had the opportunity to provide input on behalf of PEDA membership. We look forward to working with the administration to implement the first statewide economic development strategy in two decades in a way that best serves the needs of our members for the betterment of their local economies and their business constituents and to increase the vitality of our communities.

To learn more, see the official press release, visit the state's new business attraction website and read the complete economic development strategy.
