The Pennsylvania Allies Program was designed for professionals working in roles that actively support economic development organizations (EDOs) and their efforts within PA communities. Through the provision of training for local stakeholders, they - along with their local or regional EDOs - will be well-positioned to take advantage of opportunities to jointly champion their communities. Save the Dates - Basic Economic Development Course

PEDA, the IEDC-accredited sponsor of the Basic Economic Development Course in PA, invites you to attend the 2025 Course, beginning in September 2025 and concluding in November 2025. The first, second, and last days will be held in person at the Penn Harris Hotel in Camp Hill, PA. Four sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. Participants are required to attend all in person and virtual sessions in order to earn a certificate of completion.

Registration information will be available in June 2025 at www.peda.org.

Standing Call for PEDA Conference Session Proposals

PEDA accepts session proposals for its conferences on a rolling basis. Please submit your proposal(s) for consideration, using the following as a guideline.

1. Explain your proposed session topic, title and overview.
2. Explain what is innovative about your proposed session and topic(s) of focus.
3. Explain your presentation approach / style.
4. Describe what the key takeaways will be for conference attendees.
5. Provide any information you feel will help us better understand what you want to do as a presenter.
6. Provide the name, title and organization of each of the presenters (and the moderator, if applicable) you're recommending for consideration.
7. If applicable, provide any suggestions you may have for enhancing the attendee experience at this and future conferences.

Please submit your proposal via email to jskopp@wannerassoc.com, labeling the subject line "Conference Session Proposal". In your submission, please include your name, title, organization, phone number, email address and mailing address.
