PEDA In-District Lobby Week - Planning Meeting
Agenda subject to change
The Pennsylvania Economic Development Association (PEDA) is planning a coordinated “In-District Lobby Week” effort the week of November 10, 2025 and is asking you, our members, to plan to make visits to members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly representing your respective regions during this specific period of time.
The goal of this effort is to educate members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly about the economic development professionals and organizations, from across the Commonwealth, that comprise PEDA and how we – collectively and effectively – deliver state and local economic development programs, development services and marketing at the local and regional levels. Recognizing that you, as members of PEDA, are the Commonwealth’s leading voices for business retention, expansion and attraction, this coordinated effort represents a prime opportunity to get in front of our legislators and to let our voices be heard.
If you are interested in learning more about this effort, please register for an informational Zoom meeting, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. During the course of this Zoom meeting, leaders of PEDA’s Advocacy and EDC committees – along with Alex Rahn, PEDA’s lead government affairs professional – will discuss the importance of this effort, how you can be a part, what resources are available to you, etc.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this important event! Register by COB on Monday, October 13th and Zoom credentials will be automatically sent in your event confirmation email.
Consent to Use of Photo / Video / Audio: Registration for, attendance at or participation in this event constitute an agreement by the registrant, attendee or participant to PEDA’s photographing and / or recording of this event (or portions thereof) and to PEDA's use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s, attendee’s or participant’s image and/or likeness and/or voice (as recorded on audio or video) without compensation.
