This program provides participants with the fundamental skills needed to evaluate credit, structure loans and make effective lending decisions. Completion of the program provides a solid lending foundation.

During this program, the concepts below will be covered in-depth to help participants learn how to use an applicant’s financial information to make credit decisions and structure loans properly. They will also learn techniques that help the lender identify the underlying reasons for borrowing. Case studies will further enhance participants’ knowledge using real world scenarios.

Credit analysts and business development officers would benefit from attending this program, as well as other individuals needing to gain fundamental lending knowledge.

Jim Barrickman, President of New Horizons Financial Group, Atlanta, GA, is the author of the curriculum for the Extended Learning (EXL) Program, as well as the Level 200 Commercial Lending Curriculum. Mr. Barrickman has also created and presented numerous courses on lending in Central and Eastern Europe.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration fees: The per person registration fee for PEDA members is $479 and for non-members is $529. The registration fee includes all seminar sessions, materials, luncheon and breaks.

Space is limited and registration must be completed prior to the event to guarantee a seat. Due to these constraints, walk-ins will not be admitted.

Cancellation & Refund Policies: Due to venue guarantees, requests for cancellations and refunds must be made in writing and received 10 business days prior to the event. No refunds will be granted after that point. All refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee. No-shows will be billed in full. Registration is non-transferable. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, Acts of God and/or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.
