Is a “Business Plan” the first document you
request when meeting with potential borrowers?
Do you have a “Lending Plan”, a “Credit Policy”
and a “Servicing and Procedures Policy” in
place and are they each current? This session
will address the ins and outs of these essential
policies and how they can be most effectively
utilized in the lending process. Focusing on the
development, revision and maintenance of these
policies, some of the topics to be addressed

• Identifying what auditors are
really looking to find

• Investigating current trends and practices

• Identifying what is new out there
that you need to know

• Comparing your policies to
those of your peers

• Revising your policies to meet your
needs and those of your clients

No matter your level of experience in lending,
this session is designed to provide you with tools
that will allow you to increase your knowledge,
evaluate your own practices with those of your
peers and improve your overall effectiveness as
an economic developer.
